Updated: 08 July 2020
green has been open for exercise and practice since Tuesday 26th May
and many of our members have taken the opportunity to have a bowl.
Members must book a session in advance and not just turn up at the club. (See how to book a session at the end of this article)
following is our plan for Phase 2a of Opening the Green while taking account of
the restrictions required due to Covid-19. The continued use of a booking
system will ensure the numbers bowling comply with the guidelines and allow
“track and trace” records to be available.
These instructions relate to the 1 hour practice sessions only.
It should be noted that the committee have decided that the President’s Cup and Richardson Shield will proceed in 2020 and a separate note about these competitions will be issued to all members in the near future.
The green will be available from 10.00am to 6.00pm (the last session to start at 5.00pm) apart from Tuesday and Friday mornings when it will not be available until after 1.00pm because of green maintenance. A practice session will last 1 hour. (Please note that from 11th August there will be no practice sessions available on Tuesdays or Fridays as these afternoons will be set aside for the 2 internal club competitions).
Adherence to these instructions will be strictly monitored by the Club Safeguarding Officer who is Trevor Mardling and in the unlikely event of any disagreement or dispute between members his decision will be final and binding. The Club Safeguarding Officer can be contacted on 01785 814505 or mobile 0758 337 0204.
